I've been diving for ten years, mostly in Florida, but recently moved to Va Beach for business. I'd heard of Dive Quarters but was totally unprepared for the service and knowledge of the staff. Great people with the customers interest at heart. After assessing my aptitude, they were able to recommend the proper gear and I've never gone anywhere else. Highly recommend them.

Antigua

In my opinion, it was overfished and there was not alot to see. It has also been damaged by hurricanes and humans. Of course some sites will be better than others, but overall we were underwhelmed by the diving in Antigua.

Cozumel Mexico

Cozumel is particularly known for its drift diving. There's nothing like the feeling of flying along a wall while you're not moving a muscle. Now we're talking fun!

Not to mention the margaritas. Only after diving, of course.

First select the style (listed above) that you are most comfortable with and gives you the best field of vision. Next check the skirt around the mask. High quality scuba diving masks will have a silicon skirt around the edge which will give you a more comfortable fit. There are even different grades of silicon. The more expensive models will probably have a higher grade silicon - the skirt will feel softer and more flexible than those on the lower grade scuba diving masks.

Types and Styles of Scuba Diving Masks

Single pane lens - In this style there is a single lens on the front of the dive mask and lenses on either side of the face. Not that you can really see out the side lenses, but you can pick up movement. I have this style of mask and really like it.

Unusual Atmosphere, Amazing Menu

This has got to be THE best restaurant/deli in the Washington DC metro area! They have everything you can imagine and it is cooked fresh to order. The menu has been fine tuned to offer the best variety at reasonable prices! From kids' meals to Gourmet sandwich selections, they have something for everyone! The staff is super friendly and if you are lucky one of the owners may stop to chat with you a bit. Comfortable dining areas with lots of seating, in both the Bethesda and Chevy Chase branches. The Georgetown branch, although small, offers that quaint corner French diner feel.
